Today's doodle is my OC, Archangel Sariel.
I know, it seems a little strange that I would skip over a major Archangel (Raphael) and do one that's not so well known. Raph will probably come tomorrow. But this is Sariel. Being a lesser known Archangel, he doesn't feel as much pressure from his job as say Michael or Uriel, even though he has a very unique power. Sariel is the Angel of Life and created at the same time as Uriel. They are often considered brothers. He is also connected to Uriel and if something were to happen to either one of them, they other would feel it. Being the Angel of Life, he is the only angel with the power to bring humans back from the Dead.
Sariel is a more fun loving angel then his comrades. Like Gabriel, he likes watching over humans, yet he interact with them a lot more then Gabriel. He's nice and sweet, but has quite a temper and has been known to get a little violent when it comes to demons. He has a strong dislike for Lucifer.

Oh, one more thing. I should mention that all my OC Archangels or any other character I have based off of creatures already written about (ie. angels, demons, Lucifer, etc.) are LOOSELY based off of the folklore surrounding them and may not exactly follow what is written in the Bible, Book of Enoch, etc. These are MY interpretation of them.
